MD TP9 - Detection of antigen-specific B cells in pemphigus patients

B cells play a central role in the pathogenesis of pemphigus vulgaris. Here we aim to establish methods to detect antigen-specific B cells in the peripheral blood of pemphigus patients. These B cells will be characterized morphologically and will be sorted for NGS analysis.

The isolation protocol has been established successfully. As this is part of a broader project, the results will be published when further experimental work has been completed using this technique.
