MP TP6: Cellular requirements of autoantibody-induced tissue injury

The requirement of neutrophils in mediating autoantibody induced tissue injury has long been established. Recent unpublished data from our group indicates, that additional cells may contribute to autoantibody-induced tissue injury.

The aim of this project is a detailed analysis of the cellular infiltrate in experimental EBA. This will allow to test the functional role of these cells in the future.

The experimental work of this project has been concluded and is currently prepared for publication. Mareike graduated in May 2017. Congratulations!
