MD TP40: The role of the hair follicle in the development of antibody transfer-induced EBA

We want to further investigate the role of the hair follicle in the development of antibody transfer-induced epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA) in mice.

A previous study has shown that EBA lesions in nude mice are distributed along areas of the skin where hair follicles are in telogen phase or in one of the other two phases of hair follicle cycling (anagen/catagen). We want to investigate if the hair follicle influences either the distribution of lesions or the disease severity.
