MD TP1: Galactolysated IgG1 and regulation of DC function

Previous data from the laboratory shoed that highly galactosylated immune complexes can influence C5aR signaling through binding to Dectin-1 and Fc gamma IIB (Karsten et al; Nat Med).

The aim of my thesis was to investigate if immune-complexes of other isotopes (i.e. IgG2a) may have similar effects. The project focused on the effects of C5a induced migration.

Results of this project have been presented at the XXIV International Complement Workshop, 2012.
